However, most manufacturers of non-genuine Epson inks, regardless of the type of genuine ink, recommend using water-soluble inks, as they have a softer texture and are safer for the print heads.

Please note!!! That when changing the type of ink, it is absolutely necessary to wash the print head of the printer from the remnants of the old ink, because mixing different types of ink can lead to serious contamination of the print head.

Which cartridges for printer can be used with Chipless Solution?

You can use any refillable ink cartridges for printers. Original cartridges can also be refilled, but on all models, and most often, to be able to refill the cartridges, their design will have to be changed. In addition, the body of the original cartridges is not transparent, which makes it impossible to visually check the ink level.

We recommend using Continuous Ink Supply Systems (CSIS) or refillable cartridges. CISS and chipless firmware essentially make your printer ink refill printers, which is capable of printing large volumes without private refueling. Refillable cartridges have a transparent case and a special hole for refilling, which ensures the convenience of refilling cartridges and monitoring the level of ink in them.

Whatever type of cartridges you use, remember that with installed chipless firmware, the printer does not monitor the ink level in the cartridges and only you visually control the ink level in the cartridges. You need to constantly monitor the ink level and refill the cartridges in time, because printing without ink has a bad effect on the print head of the printer and can lead to its failure.
